Sorrow, no more

You’re there when I need you

You’re there when I don’t want you

You hurt me when I want to feel pain

You hurt me when I’m ready to fight

I can’t escape you

But I can put you on hold

And leave you where no one knows where you are

Surrounded by echoing darkness

I

I will climb

I will climb out of the well

I’ll reach the surface, look you in the eye and say

Sorrow, no more!

Love is all I have

But it’s all I need

I cannot bare the image of you

Begging me to stay in your embrace

Fear is a word I hate

Fear reminds of you

Fear pushes me to

Look up and say…

I

I will climb

I will climb out of the well

I’ll reach the surface, look you in the eye and say

Sorrow, no more!
